Data on your device
The app stores recipes, settings, mixing measurements, feedback and optional selected photos locally, and they may be included in your iOS backups. Photos and written notes are not uploaded by the app. No Dough Club account or advertising is required. Build 15 and earlier have no analytics. Starting with build 16, optional analytics are described below.
Optional analytics and recipe research — build 16 onward
Analytics are off by default. If you turn on “Share usage and results,” Microsoft Clarity receives app interactions (taps, screens visited, timer actions and recipe starts), masked screen reconstructions and technical information such as app/device/OS, session identifiers, IP-derived approximate location and SDK performance. Clarity uses pseudonymous identifiers to group sessions; we do not supply your name, email, Apple Account or advertising identifier. This is not fully anonymous data.
When you start a recipe or save feedback, we also send a reviewed set of recipe numbers and catalog identifiers: flour product, W/protein, pizza style, ball count/weight, hydration/salt/oil, yeast type/dose, preferment, mixer type, oven, altitude, times and temperatures. Feedback includes selected texture/proofing outcome, success and optional observed hours. Your optional broad region selection is included; no GPS permission is requested. Clarity may independently infer approximate location from your IP even if you do not select a region. Free-text yeast/mixer/oven names, grain-origin notes, recipe names, feedback notes and photos are excluded from our structured events. Root screen content is masked by default; only selected public controls are unmasked. Payment, feedback-entry and analytics-settings screens pause capture.
Vomero LLC uses these observations for product analytics and research into dough outcomes. Current recipes are not automatically changed based on community data; heatmaps alone do not establish a better recipe. Data is sent to Microsoft Clarity, not a separate Dough Club research server. Clarity dashboards are restricted to project members. Processing and retention follow Microsoft Clarity privacy information and Microsoft’s privacy statement; Microsoft may process data internationally. We have not configured an indefinite separate research archive.
Turn sharing off in Privacy and analytics to stop new app analytics. The app remains usable subject to normal access/subscription limits. Disabling does not delete data already transmitted. Contact info@theatlantapizzatruck.com for access/deletion questions; we may need information to locate a pseudonymous session. We do not use these events for advertising or cross-app advertising tracking. Analytics consent is separate from subscription and notification choices.
Free access and Keychain
First-use and last-observed dates are stored in this device’s Keychain to manage the three-month preview and detect a backward clock change. These dates are not sent to our servers or shared through an app account. They can remain after reinstalling the app on the same device. This is a device-based preview, not a centrally synchronized account entitlement.
Purchases
Apple handles subscriptions and payment details. The app uses StoreKit to verify purchase status and expiration. We do not receive your payment-card information. Apple’s processing is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
Local notifications
With permission, the app schedules local recipe and membership reminders. No email address or remote push service is required. Disable notifications in iOS settings at any time.
Your choices
You can delete individual feedback, photos and saved recipes from the app. Removing the app removes its local app data subject to iOS backup behavior; Keychain preview dates may remain. You choose the destination whenever you share a recipe or open an external source. Other sites and apps follow their own privacy policies.
Support and this website
If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond. Do not send sensitive credentials or payment data. This support website uses no analytics, advertising cookies or forms. Our hosting provider, Netlify, may process ordinary request/security logs, such as IP address and browser information, to deliver and protect the website; see Netlify’s privacy policy.
